We are looking to appoint a Process Technician II (24/7 Shift) to join our Production team in Maidstone, Kent.

As a member of the Production team, you will be based in the manufacturing plant. You will focus on performing processes in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) such as buffer preparation, lyophilization, purifications and formulations. You will also be required to perform adjustments/minor troubleshooting and operate basic and complex production equipment.

In this role, you will carry out a mix of supervised and unsupervised processing activities, ensuring all steps are controlled, monitored, and completed to a high standard. Drawing on strong product and process knowledge, you will manage assigned workloads to support the manufacturing plan, with occasional involvement in short-, mid- and long‑term production planning. Responsibilities include elements of raw material control, analytical techniques such as assays, QC sampling, and final product transfer, alongside maintaining good understanding of effluent treatment and associated services. As your technical, logistical and equipment knowledge grows, you will be expected to identify and communicate issues for investigation or troubleshooting, occasionally sharing these insights beyond your shift. You will demonstrate consistent compliance with quality assurance requirements—including batch records, logs, and labelling—as well as HS&E, housekeeping, and cleaning standards, and may support improvement initiatives in these areas. The role also involves providing basic support across other manufacturing areas and CDMO operations. Effective verbal and written communication is essential, ensuring clear inter‑shift handovers and emails.

This role typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent, along with a minimum of four years’ relevant experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in fermentation, downstream processing, and/or chromatography. Backgrounds in quality systems and either laboratory-scale or high‑volume manufacturing environments are highly desirable. Experience with cGMP is preferred, and additional exposure to ISO9001, ISO45001 (Health, Safety & Environment), and/or ISO14001 (Environmental Management) would be an advantage.

If this sounds like the role for you, please apply for immediate consideration!
