SEKISUI Medical Group Condemns Invasion of Ukraine and Pledges Support to Citizens

The companies of the SEKISUI Medical Group (SMG) stand unified with the international community in condemning the invasion of Ukraine by Russia and the senseless violence and aggression against its citizens.

We remain committed to creating a healthy, sustainable world where all can live in peace and prosperity. During this very sad and difficult time, our goal is to do whatever we can at home and abroad to support our employees who have family in Ukraine and all its citizens and refugees. SMG is donating $400,000 to humanitarian organizations including Razom for Ukraine and United Help Ukraine to deliver services, supplies and basic needs for people still inside the country and those currently residing in border countries. In addition, SEKISUI Diagnostics will continue to match all employee donations made to qualified humanitarian organizations.

As for continuing business relationships in Russia, our mission and values are focused on improving the health of all people and we do not believe Russian citizens should be denied the medical care they need. We are not aware of any sanctions that would include SEKISUI Medical Group products at this time, and we will not do business with any Russian banks under sanction. We will also ensure our business partners who represent SEKISUI Medical Group products will abide by any sanctions as appropriate. We will continue to monitor the situation and update our business practices as needed.
