We are pleased to announce that our Sekisui Diagnostics PEI Site was selected as one of “Atlantic Canada’s Top Employers” for 2017! This is a major honor and shows the commitment the employees and management have in making it a great place to work in the Region.

Now in its 8th year, Atlantic Canada’s Top Employers award is an annual competition organized by the editors of “Canada’s Top 100 Employers”. This special designation recognizes the employers in Canada’s four Atlantic provinces that lead their industries in offering exceptional places to work. It’s a unique project because this competition extends across four provinces – the only one of its kind.

Employers are evaluated using eight criteria: (1) Physical Workplace; (2) Work Atmosphere & Social; (3) Health, Financial & Family Benefits; (4) Vacation & Time Off; (5) Employee Communications; (6) Performance Management; (7) Training & Skills Development; and (8) Community Involvement. Employers are compared to other organizations in their field to determine which offers the most progressive and forward-thinking programs.

Also, we were recognized as a “Top Employer for Recent Grads” and will be included in The Career Directory, a guide to entry-level recruitment for recent college and university graduates. This is very encouraging as we have put a lot of effort over the last year into recruiting and hiring students/grads through work terms or full time employment. As Sekisui Diagnostics continues to grow we are thinking ahead and creating our future workforce. These awards provide us differentiation between other employers in obtaining top talent.
