Sekisui Diagnostics Launches New High Throughput Automated Coagulation System

Lexington, MA– Sekisui Diagnostics announces the launch of the new CoaprestaTM 2000 (CP2000) Coagulation System in Europe, Middle East and Africa regions. The system will be available for purchase through the Sekisui Diagnostics offices in Kent, UK and Rüsselsheim, Germany starting in January 2014.

The CP2000 is an automated system with a small footprint, high-throughput and a range of dedicated barcoded reagents. The system can run up to 400 PT tests per hour. Test panels include PT, APTT, Fibrinogen, D-dimer, FDP, AT and many other new assays are in development.

The system offers excellent performance, predominately ready-to-use liquid reagents, and can be interfaced to LAS systems using point- in-space sampling, which make it an exciting new choice for laboratories seeking an efficient, high performing coagulation solution. The system is the market leading product in the higher volume system category in Japan, where it was developed.
