We are seeking a Sr. HR Manager with experience supporting all areas of HR including recruitment, compensation, benefits, training, development, employee relations and other related projects as needed.
ABOUT YOU
You are a roll-up your sleeves HR Business Partner with experience improving performance by recommending solutions to drive business initiatives. You have a keen interest in partnering with senior management to provide guidance on organization design, sales incentive design, workforce planning, learning and development, and succession planning while working with your global HR colleagues to ensure consistency across all sites. You are adept at managing and resolving complex employee relations issues by advising managers on current employment legislation, and by conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations. Employee engagement is top of mind as you work diligently and collaboratively to ensure employees recognize their value to the organization through performance management, strong and respectful work relationships, timely communication, and improved morale.
To be successful in this role, you will consistently demonstrate your:
- Thorough knowledge of relevant employment legislation within PEI
- Analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively and influence all levels of the organization as well as with vendors and suppliers
- Good judgement and discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential information
- Ability to balance advocacy for employees and leaders
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Less than 10% travel may be required.
Training/Facilitation experience is a plus.
