At SEKISUI Diagnostics, a leader in invitro diagnostics, we help improve patient outcomes by doing what we’ve always done – focusing on innovating and developing highly accurate diagnostics tests, reagents and systems.  We are seeking a highly motivated Scientist within the Molecular Diagnostics space to collaborate with a team of talented scientist and engineers in the development of devices to improve healthcare. 

About you: 

You are proficient in standard molecular biology techniques and have worked on novel molecular diagnostic development and validation. You are a collaborative team player and have experience working with RNA, DNA, virus and bacterial cultures.

To be successful in this role you will: 

  • Write and executing protocols and work instructions
  • Work on problems that require significant technical creativity and/or novel approaches to solve complex problems  
  • Interface with multi-disciplinary teams consisting of engineering, manufacturing, and clinical to develop and validate novel molecular assays. 
  • Mentor and guide junior scientists on the team, fostering a collaborative learning environment

The anticipated base salary for this position is $75,000-$105,000. This role may also qualify for annual incentives and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
