About the role:

As a member of the Upstream Production Team, you will joining a veteran team who is actively supporting the current and growing Sekisui product catalog. Members of this team will be involved in performing Assay Optimization, Particle/Protein Conjugations, Protein Purification, Buffer Preparation, Protein Solution Preparation, and Extraction Reagent Creation in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices. You will also be involved in minor troubleshooting related to assigned production and will be using basic production/laboratory equipment such as stirrers, balances, centrifuges, spectrophotometers, etc. This role may also assist in process development regarding scale up and improving product yield.

To succeed in this role, you must be able to maintain inventory levels using planning tools, communication boards, and production schedules. You must have experience in preparing solutions such as: buffers, reagents, and controls. You should have experience with column chromatography and protein conjugations. Experience with assay optimization is also a notable plus. You may occasionally need to lift items weighing ~50 lbs. The ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment is essential. Strong attention to detail as well as intermediate skills on Microsoft Office are encouraged. Potential candidates must have a minimum of 3-5 years of applicable experience, 5+ years is ideal. A relevant college degree is a plus.

The anticipated base compensation for this position is $65,000 – $73,000. This role may also qualify for annual incentives and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base compensation offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
