As a member of the Upstream Production Team, you will be tasked with performing processes in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures. You will use these procedures to generate buffers, reagents and protein solutions; as well as, performing purifications. You will also perform adjustments and be involved in minor troubleshooting with basic production/laboratory equipment such as stirrers, balances, centrifuges, spectrophotometers, etc. This role may also assist in process development regarding scale up and improving product yield. All SOPs and associated work will require proper documentation.
To succeed in this role you must be able to maintain inventory levels using planning tools, communication boards, and production schedules. You should have experience in preparing solutions such as: buffers, reagents, and controls. Experience with column chromatography and protein conjugations are also a plus. You may occasionally need to lift items weighing ~50 lbs.

The anticipated base salary for this position is $50,000 – $60,000. This role may also qualify for annual incentives and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
